The Origin Story
Zalo is the creative mind behind Black Umbrella, and he loves building and finding new ways of creating stuff, while making sure it's the most efficient, so he can free his time for other things.
His philosophy is "there is always a way of doing it". Whenever someone says it can't be done, what they really mean is they don't want to try and they don't believe they can do it. He doesn't believe in limitations—anything can be figured out with the right belief.
The First Version
The first version was just a simple automation we used internally for clients—it was far from perfect. We overcame a lot of moving parts that needed to work together correctly, with tons of iterations in order to actually make it work.
Why "Black Umbrella"?
Because our future vision isn't just creative workflows—it's every tool a marketer will use augmented with AI, so it's an umbrella that covers everything. And black, because black is cool—who doesn't like black?
